In 1984, the Khaptad National Park – Nepal was created thanks to the priest of the region named Khaptad Baba. During the 1940s, the priest Khaptad Baba settled in the region. The priest spent about 50 years alone meditating; later, he became a famous Buddhist saint. To commemorate his memory, the faithful decided to create a religious site in the middle of Khaptad National Park – Nepal.
